Perry Roth & Hanu Chu

Saxophonist Perry Roth is on the faculties at Kent State University’s Hugh A. Glauser School of  Music, The College of Wooster and The Hartt School Community Division at The University of Hartford. Roth is an accomplished solo artist, chamber musician and  educator. He holds the tenor saxophone chair in the Barkada Quartet, which he joined  in the spring of 2017. As an avid performer, he has appeared with the Baton Rouge  Symphony, the Connecticut Valley Symphony, the Hartt Symphony, the JACK Quartet,  the American Modern Ensemble, and the Hartford Independent Chamber Orchestra. Perry is joined on this program by acclaimed soloist and collaborative pianist, Dr. Hana Chu who has graced stages throughout North America, South America, the Middle East, and Korea, performing with many distinguished artists. Renowned for her versatility and artistry, Dr. Chu is highly sought after for her numerous collaborations, showcasing her diverse artistic scope as a chamber musician.
