Theron Brown

Theron Brown is a dynamic and soulful jazz pianist whose music reflects a deep reverence for the roots of jazz while embracing modern influences with originality and heart. Based in Akron, Ohio, Theron is widely recognized for his expressive playing, charismatic stage presence, and commitment to music education and community engagement. He has performed across the country, appeared as young Herbie Hancock in the film Miles Ahead, and leads his own trio, known for its inventive and heartfelt interpretations. In addition to performing, Theron is the founder of the Rubber City Jazz & Blues Festival and serves as an influential educator and mentor to young musicians.
